It was so wonderful to see YOU, to experience once again the warm friendship and close connection we've had for several years, and to laugh so hard (with tears) as I watched you teach! I both anticipated and expected the fun! The wink was a bonus!!

Wow - you have touched so many lives in such a positive way! And, how honored I am to have been taught by you and to have taught your work with you - the best, by far, and most rewarding experiences in my life. My emotions run very deep..thank you so much...

Remember, when you asked the group to think about a favorite teacher because it is often the influence of one teacher that moves us toward a life's work in teaching? I thought about Mr. Klug, my 7th grade teacher, who appreciated and respected me every day I was in his class. And, I thought about you..because you taught me to know myself better in order to be a better teacher (and you made me do the work)! And, although I wish I was saying this to you face-to-face when we were sharing time and having one of our great talks, John and my best work are our two beautiful children -- Jenni and Joel -- who love us deeply and share with us their gratefulness that we are their parents. And, in my heart-of-hearts, you are in this story because I truly believe you contributed to my ability to be a great parent.Thank you so much...
